Tune Up Your Windows Vista
As we all know that windows vista is the operating system that has some great features and some animation, so that will make our computers slow if the computer itself has a lower specification.
Below are a few tune ups to boost performance and make your windows Vista faster. So that the windows will work more efficiently.
1. Turn off Windows Search Indexing
Windows Vista perform a search indexer continuously and check the file on your system to make its contents are always available for quick search. This is useful, but can greatly affect system performance.
* Click Start then Computer
* Right-click C: Drive
* On the General tab, uncheck Index this drive for faster searching
* In the dialog box, select Include subfolders and files
2. Turn off Remote Differential Compression
* Open the Control Panel
* Switch to Classic View
* Click the Program Features
* Select Turn Windows features on and off
* Highlight the bottom and uncheck Remote Differential Compression
3. Turn off Automatic Windows Defender Operation
* Open the Control Panel
* Select Windows Defender
* Select Tools from the menu above
* Choose Options
* uncheck Auto Start at the bottom of the window
4. Turn off Automatic Disk Defragmentation
* Click Start à Computer
* Right-click the C: Drive
* Select the Tools tab
* Click Defragment Now
* uncheck Run on a schedule
5. Disable User Access Control (UAC)
* Click Start then Control Panel
* Select User Accounts
* Select Turn User Account Control on or off
* uncheck User Account Control Box
* Restart your computer
